Naming our MNM Car Logo

With a new name, new location, new facility, and new logo, our team at My Neighbourhood Mechanic thought, why not introduce a whole new mascot logo to represent our shop! Have you seen our car character cruising through your feed and our neighbourhood? This little car reflects the huge love for the community that drives us, but there was one thing missing…a NAME! 

Car Naming Contest 

MNM held a contest for all our amazing neighbours to get creative and give our car character a name that is as awesome as the community that inspired it.  We want to send out a big thank you to everyone who submitted a name. We appreciated the carloads of submissions we received, and it took us a good while to decide on the perfect name. Finally, after much deliberation, we are thrilled to announce that our car mascot is …OTTO!

We decided on this submission because we loved the play on words. It’s a cute name for our cute and friendly logo. A big shoutout to Brad Wittekoek, who was the first to submit “Otto”, and has won FREE oil changes FOR LIFE!

We couldn’t forget about all the others who also suggested Otto – it seems like great minds think alike!  To show our appreciation, each person who entered the name Otto has also received a complimentary oil change on us.
